Situated in the eastern Gulf of Salerno, Paestum was one of the richest and most flourishing Greek colonies of southern Italy along the west coast of the Tyrrenhian Sea. Passing inland you'll find a lot of farms where buffalos are bred. We offer a full-day's guided tour to Paestum for an amazing combination of history wine buffalo cheese. The tour includes a visit to the farm Caseificio Barlotti and cheese tasting combined with wine tasting of some wines from De Conciliis cellar and a visit to the Paestum Temples. During the visit to the farm you can discover how mozzarella cheese is made, before trying it. You'll enjoy spectacular views from where you eat, drinking a good wine. Farm excursions may be scheduled for any date with a week's advance notice and can be conducted in your language. Pick-up service from participant's location can also be arranged.
