  • Description

    CELTA Teacher teaches beginners to advanced level English for several periods during designated times in the day. A variety of backgrounds will be represented and children may vary in age and ability in the classroom. Teacher is required to submit long-range plans, plan daily lessons and monitor students' progress using effective techniques. Other duties involve assisting in creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, swimming, mountain biking, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, tennis, football, lacrosse, cricket and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

    Village Camps runs programmes in Switzerland, France, Austria, England and Ireland, May through October including summer and day camps; English, French and German instruction; Tennis and golf camps; Outdoor educational and adventure camps as well as many other exciting programmes.

    Applicant must be a native speaker of English, hold a CELTA qualification and have proven teaching experience of a minimum of one year.
