Villa Vista - The House

This luxury villa has five bedrooms all with private bathrooms (en-suite), four of which have a sea view & their own door onto the balcony. You can book up to five rooms or just one room and meet other discerning guests.

During high season we prefer weekly bookings,but please try for availability. Outside peak season we will be happy to take mid week or long weekend bookings for those who want a short break in the sun.

Three of the rooms have a bath with shower and the other two have shower rooms. All the rooms have a fridge, radio alarm, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

The property has full central heating. There is a large private pool with sun beds in the extensive gardens with views of the sea. On the first floor is a delightful living area where guests can meet. This is cool in summer with magnificent mable flooring or cosy in the winter around the log fire.

In addition there is satellite TV, a room for playing chess and card games, with wi-fi Internet access. There is also outdoor Table Tennis under shade

The breakfast room and adjoining terrace where breakfast can be taken, overlooks the pool and Atlantic Ocean.

Restrictions

Smoking is not allowed in this house.

A steep drive and steps, make it unsuitable for the physically challenged to gain access to the property, we have a long drive with electric gates offering secure private parking.

GPS Navigation settings: 39. 00` 45. 19 North 9. 24` 50. 37 West

Via toll motorway it will cost 1.35 Euros. (40mins to 1 Hour). At Lisbon airport from the Car Hire follow the signs initially for city centre, then as soon as possible the signs for AI Norte at the roundabout,then A12 & A8 Qeste(the road you need), This will take you to the 2nd Circular,you are going to leave the 2nd Circular soon at junction 14 marked A12 Vasco da Gama (the bridge to go south).Be careful here as soon as you turn off you need to be in the left hand lane to negotiate the flyover that takes you to the A8 otherwise you will go south for 16 kms. Once over the flyover this will take you through a tunnel,at which point you will need to take the right hand junction onto the A8, signposted Loures & Leiria you will soon need to stop at the toll and take a ticket please do not follow other cars through the green V sign this is for automatic charging & you will be fined about 40 Euros.

Keep on the A8 until you see the junction for Malveira/Mafra Junction 5, you are coming off at this junction. This will bring you to a pay booth (0.70 Euros), stay on this road to the new motorway to Mafra/Ericeira, Stay on this motorway until you reach Ericeira, at the tool both you will pay 0.65 Euros at the end of this motorway you will come to a new Large roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Torres Vedras & Ribamar, straight over the next roundabout, then at the next roundabout you need the 2nd exit Ribamar, Torres Vedras, this road is the Estrada Nacional 247 and our property is 3Kms further along this road on your right. Stay on this road & continue through Ribamar.

As you leave the village of Ribamar the road goes downhill (please ignore the turning down to S.Lourenco beach) You will pass the Terra Mar restaurant on your left, (our property is now the second house on your right) if in daylight & after some 300 Metres, you will see a bank on your right that has been laid with rocks, start to slow down here and indicate right ready to, Turn off the road here and turn round as if you are going to rejoin the road back to Ribamar. Villa Vista gates and drive are now in front of you. This is before the small bridge at the bottom of the valley Otherwise continue over the small bridge until you reach the S.Lourenco village sign.

Just after the sign for S Lourenco take the left turn and do a U turn back onto the road you have just come off (the way you came.) Just over the bridge on the left hand side you will see the drive (this turning round is for your own safety) The gates are electric & there is a speaker module there to press (if no reply call Colin on 00-351-961655279)
