Incorporating Tuscan style with 1930's charm, this lovely accommodation is ideally situated in the calm and beautiful 8th district; Saint Giniez, close to the Bagatelle garden and only a few minutes from the Prado beaches. Enjoy a relaxing stay in complete comfort...all our rooms are large, en-suite with private WC and come equipped with WIFI.

Villa Monticelli offers 5 stylish and luxurious bedrooms, furnished with either queen size or twin beds. All have en-suite bathrooms, are air-conditioned and soundproofed and come equipped with hairdryers and a private WC.

Location

* Arriving in Marseilles from the north (A7) or the coastal road (A55):

Follow directions towards the 'centre ville' and take the tunnel under the 'Vieux -Port', follow the directions 'Palais des Congres', 'Stade Velodrome', via Boulevard Charles Livon, then 'Corniche du President J.F Kennedy'. On reaching the 'plages du Prado', before the 'Promenade du President G. Pompidou', turn left (rue du Cdt Rolland); there is a pharmacy on the corner. Take the road 'Cdt Rolland' until number 96 keeping 'Parc Bagatelle' on the left.

* Arriving in Marseilles via the Est autoroute (A50) :

Follow the 'boulevard Vincent Delpuech' (a continuation of the autoroute) then 'avenue Jules Cantini' then onto 'avenue du Prado' where you take the opposite direction onto 'place Castellane' onto the roundabout 'rond-point Prado, continue on the right, down the ’avenue du Prado' towards 'les plages'. Take the 7th road on the right (after crossing the 'rue Paradis') onto 'avenue de la Cadenelle'. Follow directions to 'Parc Bagatelle, you will find us on the right side of 'Rue du Commandant Rolland' at number 96.

* You arrive by train, via the Saint Charles train station:

There is a taxi rank outside the station. It takes between 15-20 minutes to get to 'Villa Monticelli' from the station via taxi.

You could also use the Metro. Take line number 2 in the direction of Sainte Marguerite/Dromel. Get off at the station ' Rond-Point du Prado', the fifth station from Saint Charles.

From 'rond Point du Prado', you can walk to Villa Monticelli (it takes about 10 minutes) . Walk down 'avenue du Prado' (in the direction 'des Plages'), the path on the rightside. After crossing 'rue Paradis', turn right onto a road with a small incline. Take the third left onto 'rue Dumont Durville' at the end of this road you will cross the 'rue Commandant Rolland'. Turn right. You will find us in the second house on the left, n° 96.

When leaving the Metro at the station ' Rond-Point du Prado' you could avoid some of the walk by using your metro ticket to take the bus. In which case take the number 83 bus from 'avenue du Prado (direction 'les Plages)' and get off at the stop "Saint Exupery".

By foot, you then take 'rue de la Cadenelle' pass the 'Mairie de Bagatelle' on your right, keep to the right side of 'rue du Commandant Rolland' and find us at number 96 .
