Villa Matilde is a beautiful estate in the Andulusian heartland of Southern Spain, 18 km from the city of Andújar.

The Villa offers hospitality to guests that are looking for quiet surroundings and unspoiled nature. The Spanish and Dutch hosts, Merche Coco Pérez and Roland Wassenaar will give you a warm welcome in their mansion.

Wooded hills surround the villa and the estate gives access to the exceptional Natural Park “Sierra de Andújar”. The villa was built in 1926 and the original interior has partly been preserved. This makes Villa Matilde not only a peaceful place to stay for holidays, but also a place with a special atmosphere. Affordable rooms with modern bathrooms are available and the guests can make use of the sunshed terrace and swimming pool. The guest lounge offers an open fireplace during the cooler seasons. Authentic Spanish meals are served.

Location

Take motorway A4 (Madrid - Córdoba; also known as N-IV). On the A4 take the exit Andújar and Santuario Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza (exit number 321).

At first roundabout go straight ahead. After 100 metres there is a second roundabout. Go right in the direction of Las Viñas and Santuario Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza (A-6177). After 15 km on this road you can see on your right hand a restaurant called Los Pinos. After the restaurant take the road on the right in the direction to Pantano del Jándula (JH-5002). After 3 km on this road you will see a sign with Villa Matilde on the right at a dirt road. After 400 metres on this dirt road Villa Matilde is on the left.
