Description

Vertigo Hostel Centre opened in 2007 is located in the city centre 5 min walking distance from the central train and bus station (Gare Saint Charles) and 10 min walking distance from the Old-Port.

The hostel was renovated from two old hotels, which makes you enjoying the modern cosy atmosphere and at the same time having the feeling of exploring a typical Marseilles house.

Every room in our hostel is carefully designed and decorated according to the unique character of each room. Don't miss our sunny yard and the bar in the lobby, the perfect place to enjoy the relaxing vacation and have a drink or meet other people from all over the world.

Location

By Foot:

The Hotel Vertigo is located within 3 minutes walking distance from the central train station Saint-Charles. 2 possible accesses:

- At the end of the big famous stone stairs: Turn rightwards about 10 meters and then turn once again right in going up the street for about 50 meters. On your left hand side you will see a square which is on the reverse side of the street, it is the Place Bernard Dubois . The street rue des Petites Maries goes down on the left side of the cafe: tobacco shop, the Balto which is in the centre of this square. You will reach the Hotel Vertigo after 10 meters.

- From the station St Charles at the end of the platform: Take the escalators in descending one level and go to the exit Boulevard Maurice Bourdet At the pharmacy and the post office turn to your left on boulevard Maurice Bourdet on the left hand side for the next 50 meters. On your right hand side you will see a place, the Place Bernard Dubois . The street rue des Petites Maries goes down on the left side of the tobacco shop the Balto which is in the centre of this place. You will reach the Hotel Vertigo after 10 meters.

By Train or By Bus:

The Hotel Vertigo is situated about 50 meters from the station Saint-Charles or the bus terminal.
Navettes (shuttle buses) departing from the airport: The terminal station of the shuttle buses is the station Saint-Charles.

By Car:

- Via freeway A7 : exit station Saint-Charles, at the top of the boulevard Charles Nedelec when the station is right in front of you, turn to one's right until you reach the boulevard Maurice Bourdet and descend about 70 meters. On your right hand side you will see a place, the Place Bernard Dubois . The street rue des Petites Maries goes down on the left side of the tobacco shop, the Balto which is in the centre of this place. You will reach the Hotel Vertigo after 10 meters.
- Via freeway A55 : follow the direction Centre Ville - Vieux Port and station Saint-Charles.
