    Compare nursing & healthcare in India while on a journey with other UW Oshkosh students and faculty in Chennai, New Delhi, and Dehradun, where you will examine nursing, health and health care in a diverse culture! Visit medical facilities, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Jamia Hamdard Universityand the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust School of Nursing. Meet with health care officials and attend academic sessions on Unani Medicine (alternative medicine).

    * Gain Perspectives on international nursing and discover how it differs from national and regional activities;
    * Develop an Understanding of international health care organizations and agreements and compare to the United States;
    * Understand the Need to analyze economic and non-economic factors that may influence health and nursing in foreign countries;

    Program fees cover course-related expenses (no tuition is assessed); transportation to/from Chicago O'Hare by school bus (to UW Oshkosh); all accommodations as listed on the finalized itinerary; most breakfasts, lunches and dinners; tours/visits and hotel transfers (including transportation and entrance fees) listed on the finalized itinerary; pre-travel orientation; and international health insurance. The program itinerary may be tentative and will not be finalized until approximately two weeks before departure.

    Program fees do not cover items not specifically mentioned above such as trip cancellation and baggage insurance; passports; immunizations;visa fee; roundtrip airfare, including airfare between Chennai and New Delhi; textbooks; meals when traveling off campus (Chennai and New Delhi); all other food and beverages not specifically mentioned above; and all expenses of a purely personal nature.
