    As a volunteer teacher, you will be assisting a teacher in his/her daily lessons. You will only be allowed to lead a class on your own if you have prior experience in teaching, or if you are confident in your abilities.

    You will be volunteering in Santa Cruz, which is a safe city and perfect base for exploring the many attractions in and around the city. It's a beautiful city, and is also noted for its night life. With an assortment of attractions like the Beach Boardwalk, majestic redwood forest, arts and culture events one can never get tired of the Santa Cruz lifestyle. uVolunteer believes that you should have a well balanced work and play schedule. This means you will only be required to work 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday) for a maximum of 6 hours per day. For the remainder of your time, you will be free to enjoy the vacationing aspects of your trip.
