Description

You will be teaching sports and physical education, providing training, refereeing games and helping maintain the gym. There are a wide variety of sports you can become involved in: fútbol (soccer), basketball, aerobics, and many others. There are extracurricular activities attached to this project that involve teaching English, taking part in after school clubs, and helping kids with their homework.

You will be volunteering in Santa Cruz, which is a safe city and perfect base for exploring the many attractions in and around the city. It's a beautiful city and is also noted for its night life. With an assortment of attractions like the Beach Boardwalk, majestic redwood forest, arts and culture events one can never get tired of the Santa Cruz lifestyle. uVolunteer believes that you should have a well balanced work and play schedule. This means you will only be required to work 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday) for a maximum of 6 hours per day. For the remainder of your time, you will be free to enjoy the vacationing aspects of your trip. Great weekend trips include:

* Explore the local scenery
* Attend local concerts, cultural events, and art shows
* Trek or horseback ride in the mountains, or enjoy other natural excursions
* Visit nearby waterfalls and beaches
* Explore the vibrant night life in the restaurants, bars, and discos
