  • Description

While volunteering in Argentina, you will be working with the local community to protect and conserve endangered animals, wildlife and their surrounding environment. There is a growing number of animals so volunteers are needed to help watch over the conservation.

The main goal of this project is the conservation of certain endangered species in Cordoba. Volunteers are needed to help the local community protect the growing number of animals and the surrounding environment. This project is based in a private park, where volunteers will assist in the care and conservation of the environment and wild life. There are not enough local volunteers to properly watch over the growing number of animals, therefore we need the help of international volunteers.

    Where will I be volunteering?

You will be volunteering in the beautiful and unique Calamuchita Valley. It is roughly 100 km, or 90 minutes by bus from Cordoba city. Cordoba is located in the heart of Argentina and is the second largest city in the country. The rich Spanish colonial heritage is still alive, with many old churches and traditional buildings still intact. Cordoba has a vibrant cultural scene, and you will enjoy the famous kindness and hospitality of the "Cordobeses". It is a major cosmopolitan city with all the conveniences that volunteers expect.

What am I going to be doing?

You will be working with the staff, assisting in the protection of the environment, and animals in the park. You will help feed and clean the animals, take part in reparation projects or construction of new facilities, and become involved with current administrative duties.
