Welcome to Upper Iowa University. UIU is a private, not-for-profit university providing fully accredited undergraduate and graduate degree programs to more than 7,000 students worldwide. You can choose the learning environment that works best for you  on a residential campus, at one of UIU's academic centers near your home, on a military base, at one of our international centers in Hong Kong, Malyasia or Singapore, or wherever you are through the convenience of online courses and independent study. And if your needs change, you can switch to one of our other programs and still meet your educational goals, graduating with a single UIU transcript.

You'll want to check out our unique two-at a time curriculum that lets you take just two courses during an eight-week term. We offer six terms each year. And you'll find we have over 40 majors, including interdisciplinary studies, to meet your needs. You can select from associate of arts programs in liberal arts and business, or five certificate programs in focused specialties, or our unique RN-BSN program, or master's degrees in Education, Higher Education Administration, Business, and Public Administration
