This internship is provided by a prosperous Internet e-commerce company specializing in the businesses on language solutions, online translation platform & community and English training program. It well combines English business writing, editing and language teaching in a Chinese corporate setting, which aims to empower any one who is keen on experiencing and exploring in China professionally. The major responsibilities for the successful intern are as follows:
1. Proofread and polish the English translation drafts and may also do original writing of some English articles or business brochures (approximately 10% of the total workload)
2. Create, research and source suitable and appropriate content and features to help convert website visitors to members / customers, to increase profit and word-of-mouth and to enhance their positive experiences with the company. (approximately 10% of the total workload)
3. Oversee the website community including forums, comments, community questions. Build and maintain successful (and mutually profitable) relationships with website members and customers as a brand advocate and ambassador. (approximately 20% of the total workload)
4. Teach oral English, participate in classroom role playing, and contribute to course design and management. (approximately 60% of the total workload)

2. Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humor

5. Proactive, hardworking and energetic team player
6. Teaching experience or knowing Chinese Mandarin is a plus

* Internship Placement of Interest
A suitable internship placement which correlates to your interest and background will be pre-arranged before your arrival.
* Document Support for Visa Process
You are supposed to hold a Business F visa to carry out an internship in China. The valid duration for F visa goes from a month up to 6 months. UOutlook will assist you in getting the required documents (e.g. an invitation letter sponsored by the internship host company) for your visa process. The details about the visa application process could be seen on the website of Chinese embassy in the country where you apply for the visa.
* Housing Arrangement Assistance
If requested, UOutlook will provide you with assistance in searching, locating and arranging the accommodation according to your budget and requirements. The accommodation and related fee is not included in the internship program fee. Usually, this arrangement process will not start till the internship position has been successfully arranged and confirmed. By doing this, UOutlook could make sure the accommodation will be reasonably closed to your internship place. The accommodation detailed information including the fee, location, surrounding transport and environment plus the photos would be given in order to help you make a well-informed decision before their arrival in China.
* Airport pick-up
According to your flight and arrival information, UOutlook will arrange the staff to pick you up from the airport, and escort you to your residence.
* Orientation
UOutlook's Orientation promises to be a pragmatic one. UOutlook will arrange the staff to show you around the place where you are going to stay, help you get familiar with the surrounding environment, show you how to use the public transport system, how to make a local and international phone call, remind you of the things which you need to be aware of while living and working in China, and introduce you to the internship company and mentor on the first visit.
* Convenience Package
To help you settle down in a more comfortable and efficient manner, UOutlook provides you a ready-prepared convenience package, which includes a bedding packet, a new cell phone with a local SIM card with RMB 50 Yuan pre-paid money, an international phone card with RMB 100 Yuan value, transport card (versatile for subway, bus and taxi) with RMB 30 Yuan pre-paid money, an English tourist map.
* Residence Registration Assistance
According to the Chinese law, you are supposed to register your temporary residence at a corresponding local police station within 24 hours of your arrival in China. If needed, UOutlook will assist you with this registration process.
* Internship Mentor arrangement
To help you have a quality internship experience, UOutlook ensures a professional will be assigned by the internship company to work as your supervisor and mentor at work.
* 6-hour Chinese Mandarin Lesson
An 8-hour one-on-one customized Chinese mandarin Lesson is provided to help you have a good start on learning Chinese and acquire basic survival ability in the language. The Lesson can be conducted in a week prior to your internship, or at night or on the weekend during your internship.
* Networking and Events-organizing
To help you make the most out of your stay in China, UOutlook will help organize you to know other fellow interns, provide you with the opportunities of networking and attending the various events and/or conferences. Any fee related to the networking or events is not included in the internship program fee.
* Internship Certificate of Completion
Internship Certificate co-issued by UOutlook and Internship Company will be awarded when you successfully complete the internship.
