The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is one of the United Arab Emirates' oldest and most prestigious universities.

UOWD was established in 1993 by the University of Wollongong in Australia, currently ranked in the leading universities in the world. As a Leading nationally licensed, private University in the UAE, all UOWD degree programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. In addition, the Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA) includes UOWD in its audits of UOW.

UOWD offers Doctoral programs in Business and also a variety of specialist Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in its three faculties - Business & Management, Finance & Accounting, and Computer Science & Engineering, which are directly linked to the human resource needs of the UAE.

UOWD Centre for Language & Culture offers language courses in English and Arabic.
