Program Fee of USD 10,499. Estimated additional costs for Health and Accident Insurance (USD 102), roundtrip airfare (USD 1200 average), books (USD 200) and meals and personal expenses not included in the program fee (USD 2000).

Fixed Cost of The Village: USD 10,499
This is the portion of your total outlay for The Village that is constant for every student. Budgeting or cutting corners here is not possible, as this is a fixed cost for every one. Fixed Costs Include:
Tuition for up to 18 hours at the UNviersty of West Florida
Roundtrip courtesy transfer from CDG airport to Pontlevoy at scheduled times that can accommodate most travelers. (If you do not travel on our recommended travel days, you will need to arrange your own transfer to and from Pontlevoy)
Dormitory housing in the historic Abbey of Pontlevoy
Lunch 4-5 times/week, depending on our scheduled, in Pontlevoy at Cafe le Commerce
One group dinner each week in Pontlevoy
Use of the Abbey kitchen and dining room
Laundry on the floor, Pontlevoy
WiFi in the WiFi salon of The Abbey and in our JOURNEY hostelsOvernight excursion to Tours in conjunction with The Village Lab

Required museum visits
- The Village requires students to have completed one year of university-level study after high school. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program at a post-secondary institution.

The Henry Douglas Mackaman Scholarship is an option for participants in the Village Program.
The Henry Mackaman award has been established to honor and remember the life of Henry Mackaman. Henry was a musician and writer who graduated posthumously from the University of Wisconsin Madison with dual degrees in Economics and English/Creative Writing after just three years of study. Henry studied abroad and called the experience one of the best of his life. He died on 10 April 2013 from an attack of spinal meningitis. He was 21.
HDM awards vary according to the program you’re planning to study on, with The Catalyst awards ranging from USD 250—USD 1000 and The Village Awards ranging from USD 500—USD 2000. Applications must be postmarked no later than 11 March for students of The Catalyst and 1 May for students on The VIllage.
