Highlights

During your visit, you will learn how easy it is to become a part of the USF community as you tour the campus, meet with an Admissions Counselor, visit with current students, and perhaps speak with a professor or attend a class. We invite you to join us for a complimentary meal in the Salsbury Dining Hall to experience the meal options you would enjoy as a student.

If you are interested in music, theater, or athletics, we encourage a visit with a fine arts director or an athletic coach to get more information on participation and scholarship opportunities, or even have a chance to practice with the group or team. Spending a night in a residence hall is another great opportunity to experience life on campus with our current students.

University Attributes

The University of Sioux Falls exists for the purpose of fostering academic excellence and the development of mature Christian persons. Dr. Mark Benedetto became the 22nd president of the University of Sioux Falls in June 1997 and was formally inaugurated on September 26, 1997. His vision for the University encompasses five concepts that he outlines during his August 26, 1997, 'State of the University' address. In his speech, he encouraged the faculty and staff to 'faithfully focus' on the integration of faith, quality assurance in academic affairs and services to students, maximizing enrollment, the enhancement of the University's financial base, and on campus facilities renovation and new construction.
