The University of New Orleans, Division of International Education organize the International Summer School in Innsbruck, Austria for 250 American college/ University students and faculty.
The summer school is a 6 week program where students earn up to 9 credit hours from the University of New Orleans in Anthropology, Business, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Economics, English, Finance, Fine Arts, Film, Theater and Communication Arts, Geography, German, History, Humanities, Italian, Management, Marketing, Music, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.
Class is held Monday through Thursday most weeks allowing students time to travel on the weekends.
Over the past 36 years the University of New Orleans has enjoyed successful summers in the "Heart of the Alps". Join us this summer for our 37th Anniversary of the International Summer School in Innsbruck. We are accepting 250 students for the trip this summer.

To assist the University in its continuing efforts to internationalize its campus and curriculum and to contribute to global understanding by developing and supporting opportunities of the highest quality worldwide for students, faculty and staff as well as the general public. Our division provides a variety of international academic programs. We offer summer study abroad programs for college students and adults; semester and year exchange programs with a variety of universities around the world; and IELP, an intensive non-credit program for non-native speakers of English. The Division is also closely affiliated with other campus and local organizations dedicated to fostering international education and experience in the Greater New Orleans area.
