Intensive Hebrew Ulpan (July 2009, August 2009, July 2010)

Hi everybody, the Intensive Hebrew Ulpan from the University of Haifa is an amazing program. Not only did it improve my Hebrew immensely, I also made loads of friends I'm still in contact with and believe to be for a long time. Near the University is a fantastic synagogue with wonderful people, where I spend almost every Shabbat. The beauty of Haifa is that it doesn't matter where you're coming from (country, religion, age): you will find a home in Haifa. Hope you have a great time there! Naomi

Modern Standard Arabic I (August 2009)

I would HIGHLY recommend this program to everyone. The teachers are excellent and the course is also knowledge enriching. The people that you meet here are friends for a lifetime. You will be keeping in touch with everybody without a doubt. It is the greatest experience of my life and I would highly recommend this to everything. The Arabic that I learned here is used on a constant basis, with my dealings with people, and with casual conversation amongst classmates. One word for you, GO!

Semester Abroad (Spring 2009)

Haifa University has been much more than a learning environment for me. I have formed some of the most valuable friendships in my life here, and Haifa University has always been more than supportive of my desire to grow and play an active part in Israeli society. Haifa has become my home in Israel, and I will always remember it as such.
