    Accreditation

    The University of Central Oklahoma is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission/North Central Association of Colleges and Schools as a bachelor's and master's degree granting institution.

    Student Activities

    UCO's Student Association, or UCOSA, represents all UCO students and serves as the parent organization for more than 200 student organizations on campus. International Student Council, or ISC, represent all UCO International students and serves as the parent organization for about 30 member nations on campus.

    Technology

    UCO operate a fully wireless campus, allowing students, faculty and staff to access the internet from indoors and outdoors, anywhere on the university's 210-acre campus.

    Library Facilities

    Max Chambers Library is a four-story building is one of the most modern libraries in the Southwest. It includes a large microfilm reading room, seminar rooms, conference and study rooms, a document room, and offices.

    Students come from 46 U.S States and 101 foreign countries. 7.10 percent of undergraduate and graduate students are international students.
    Faculty

    There are approximately 448 full-time, 493 adjunct faculty members and 790 non-teaching staff. Many of UCO's faculty members have vast experience in the field which contributed to achieve international and national awards in their field. Among the major accomplishments includes 2008 US Professor of the Year, Dr. Wei Chen and Oklahoma Professor of the Year, Dr. Robert Terrell. UCO considers itself an institution where teaching comes first, and, with a 19:1 student/faculty ration, students can enjoy personal relationships with faculty and staff who are committed to transforming lives.
