Psychology (February to June, 2010)

University of Canberra was a fantastic choice for my semester abroad. The Study Abroad staff are fantastic and really take care of you and answer any questions you have what so ever. You are matched up with other study abroad students who become your greatest friends from all over the world. I lived in residence and really enjoyed living with Australians and other international students, plus the party life is awesome. I was able to travel during my time there to Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, and Wollongong, Uluru/Ayer's Rock. The study abroad staff will also help you by offering up surf camp and other fun weekend getaways. The units I took were interesting and applicable back home. Canberra may have a smaller feel, but the campus feels like a city, where you can get to know lots of people. I had a great time and you should go experience University of Canberra yourself!

Tourism Management (February 2010)

I absolutely loved my experience at the University of Canberra. The Study Abroad and Exchange staff welcomed us and provided us with a lot of opportunities to meet new people. I enjoyed the social aspect of the small campus getting to know professors personally and developing relationships with many people on residence. This semester allowed me to interact with people from other cultures and I have developed friendships with people all over the world. This was the experience of a lifetime and I would do it again in a heartbeat :)

Study Abroad Semester (January 2010)

I had the opportunity to study abroad in the UC and I have to say that was a memorable experience, I learned so many interesting things at uni that im gonna bring back home, I made so many good friends from all around the world. The UC campus and the UC Village have a very good location with most of the things on walking distance and to go downtown a 15 minutes ride. It is definitely worth studying abroad in the UC if you are looking for a great experience.

The thing I first noticed when I came to study at the University of Canberra was the very welcoming atmosphere and how easy it was to make friends. UCs residences were a supportive, fun and active community and the small class sizes allowed you to get to know your lecturers and classmates. It was awesome to be able to walk around campus and see kangaroos. I had an amazing experience.

I really developed an appreciation of other cultures and educational systems when I studied at UC through their Study Abroad and Exchange Program. I really loved the social lifestyle of UCs residences and how fun, supportive and willing people were to help you integrate into the Australian culture. This was one of the best experiences of my life. I have made so many new friends and seen such amazing things; I wouldn't trade these past few months for anything in the world. This is number 1 on my list of best experiences. UC gives you the best chance to see Australia and experience everything!

The University of Canberra's Study Abroad and Exchange Program integrates you really well into Australian culture. There is a friendly, social atmosphere about the campus and the small class sizes allowed me to receive the attention I needed during my study at UC. I gained friendships, independence, perseverance and had the chance to travel around Australia with UCs program. Australia is a really nice place and I will be leaving with many good memories.
