I've always dreamed about going to Italy someday. Drinking wine under the glistening moon and stars above me, throwing a coin in the Trevi fountain, learning how to speak Italian, and admiring culture around me. Traveling abroad through UCI Travel Study program allowed me to make my dreams come true and still take classes to learn about what Italy's language, art, and culture has to offer. You make memories which will last a lifetime, so take the chance and see the world around you.

Everyday there was an enriching learning experience from being immersed into another culture, a different language, different traditions, interacting with diverse people, but most of all learning to have a new appreciation of life itself. I know time and money are always the two biggest factors people have concerning studying abroad, but I can say that in the end&you will have no regrets.

I really had my doubts about studying abroad, especially during my last year. I am glad that I took the chance and went ahead with it. It turned out to be one of the greatest decisions I made during my entire college career. It was a truly eye-opening experience. I learned so much and grew as a person. I could not have asked for a better way to complete my college experience.

It was all truly the best time of my life. I felt like I was living life to the fullest and trying to embrace every moment or opportunity I could. I was completely outside of my comfort zone and came across new experiences that were really eye-opening for me.

It was an amazing experience that encompassed everything I ever could have imagined and then some. This program opened my eyes to a different world.
