Summer Session at UC Irvine provides administration of university-level undergraduate courses during two 5-week sessions and one 10-week session beginning in late June. Through open enrollment, we serve current UC Irvine students, visiting UC and other U.S. college students, international students, professionals and community members, and high school students who have completed their junior year. Summer Session makes it possible for students to make progress toward their degrees all year round, often making the difference for students who want to graduate on time. We offer an extensive selection of courses and students can choose from breadth requirements, coursework required for their major, or take courses to complete a minor. We act as an integral part of the Continuing Education branch of the university, supporting new program development and initiatives that serve the broad levels of the University.
