    The following graduate degree programs in Scotland are now open for applications for January 2012 entry:

    MSc/PGDip Environment and Business
    This graduate degree program provides students with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and understanding of environmental management and policy, for the purpose of developing sustainable 'best practice' in a range of organisations. Emphasis is given to the practical application of environmental management within industry and commerce. The course enables students to develop wealth creation capabilities through environmental and related business opportunities. Students will also be equipped with the technical and management skills required to identify and manage opportunities for maximising sustainable development (with least environmental impact) within their chosen business organisation.

    MSc/PGDip Energy and Environmental Management
    This graduate degree program is designed and delivered by a team consisting of industrial practitioners and leading academics drawn from the School of Contemporary Sciences, the School of Computing and Engineering Systems and the Dundee Business School. The course delivery team is actively engaged in research and consultancy activities, through the Urban Water Technology Centre (UWTC). The Centre benefits from close links with the research groups the Scottish Informatics, Mathematics, Biology and Statistics Centre (SIMBIOS), and Abertay Centre for the Environment (ACE) who have been awarded the highest research rating in Environmental Science of any modern university within Scotland. Emphasis is given to the practical application within industry and commerce, in addition to the appropriate theoretical rigour.

    MSc/PGDip Industrial Environment Management
    This graduate degree program is designed for those wishing to gain a practical understanding of environmental issues associated within manufacturing and service industries. It meets the intellectual and practical needs of professionals within both industry and the regulatory organisations involved in managing pollution arising from industrial processes. The course is designed for environmental professionals working in a business environment from either a technical or non-technical background.

    MSc/PGDip Urban Water and Environmental Management
    This graduate degree program provides you with the knowledge and technical skills to manage pollution that can arise from urbanisation and allows you to develop a detailed understanding of the aquatic environment. The course also equips you with the knowledge and skills required to address the issues encountered by public and private employers who are concerned with environmental management.

    MSc/PGDip Water Pollution Control
    This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and technical skills to manage water pollution arising from both diffuse and point sources. The course is also appropriate for those wishing to address the issues encountered by public and private employers who are concerned with the regulation and management of waste and water resources.

    All courses commence on 10 January 2012 with an induction week, and teaching commences on 17 January 2012.
