Established in the early 90s, Università dei Sapori (UdS) is a school for culinary arts in Perugia, Italy led by a group of local entrepreneurs specializing in the fields of tourism, catering, and commerce. Their goal was to pass down their professional knowledge, expertise and, most of all, their passion for traditional artisan crafts. Today, UdS serves as a “breeding-ground and crossroads” for young people. We do not just provide employment opportunities for our students, but also chances for enterprises and professionals to hone their culinary knowledge.
Over the past years, UdS has trained over 3,200 bartenders, cooks, pastry chefs, waiters, and sommeliers. Our graduates proceed into the professional world with work and career growth opportunities. We offer eight courses: Italian Pastry Chef; Italian Cuisine; Bakery and Pizzeria - Pizza Chef; Italian Wine Specialist; Italian Gelato Making - iGelato; Italian Pastry & Gelato; Experiential Tour; and Italian Chef Course. Our advanced training programs have made our institute a center of excellence in the region and throughout the nation.
