Rebuilding New Orleans One House At A Time

Program Duration

1-2 Weeks, 2-4 Weeks, 5-8 Weeks

We accept volunteers most of the year. Please email to inquire about dates.

The United Saints Recovery Project has on-going volunteer opportunities for those who are willing to work hard and want to make a difference in a community broken by hurricanes and blight.

We rehabilitate homes in Central City, New Orleans and are currently accepting volunteer applications. We provide all necessary project training, tools and safety equipment. We appreciate, but don't expect previous construction experience. We simply ask all volunteers to be willing and able to learn new rebuild skills. Volunteers must be over 18 years of age.

Rebuild projects include, but are not limited to: roofing, gutter repair, siding, gutting, sheet rock installation, mudding, priming, painting, and flooring. We also do community cleanup projects at times.
