Qualifications

* Minimum age: 18 years old
- Maximum age: No maximum age limit, the volunteer should be fit enough to perform all activities required.
* International volunteers are welcome
* An intermediate level of English is necessary in order to be able to communicate with the project staff. A little knowledge of Portuguese is appreciated but not essential.
* Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Resume
* Motivation letter
* 2 photos
* In order to carry out the whale shark monitoring activities you will need to be a capable swimmer and snorkeler (able to swim at least 100 meters unassisted).
* Being able to hold your breath to dive down would be an advantage.
* For the coral reef activities you will need to be able to equalize your ear pressure and willing to learn scuba dive the PADI course provided is mandatory.
