Description

Travel the entire length of Vietnam, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, before volunteering to help disadvantaged children near Hanoi during your gap year. TravelWorks' program gives you the opportunity to experience the main sights of Vietnam on an exciting 3-week adventure tour before you are immersed in Vietnamese culture for 2 or 4 weeks of meaningful volunteer work.

The adventure tour will take you to Hanoi, the UNESCO-protected Halong Bay, the Valley of Mai Chau, the ancient city of Hué, fascinating Hoi An, coastal Nha Trang, and vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, before you return to Hanoi for your volunteer work. A kayaking excursion, trekking trips along rice fields and in tropical rainforests, city tours, and snorkelling are all possible parts of your tour of Vietnam.

After you have seen Vietnam's most important tourist sights, we will take you off the well-beaten path to your volunteering project near Hanoi. Possible project work includes caring for orphaned children, street children, and children with disabilities.
