Kick-start your Resume with a TEFL qualification and use it to change your life. The demand for TEFL teachers around the world is growing, so there are opportunities to teach overseas in a third-world country, or assist foreign speakers in your own country.

The weekend course is aimed at providing candidates with essential teaching skills, confidence and practical knowledge in the classroom. Even in countries where you 'just need a degree' to teach English, you'll find the knowledge and techniques taught on this course invaluable once you start teaching.

Throughout the world employers will show a strong preference for those with Teaching Practice experience which starts here!

The course is intensive and 'hands on'. You will take away many ideas and activities that you can use in your teaching.

The course lasts from 9.0am to 9.0pm on Saturday and 9.0am to 5.0pm on Sunday, giving a total of 20 hours tuition and practice. It is located in various hotels and conference centres around the U.K, always with excellent transport links. The weekend is informative, useful and great fun. It is also very intensive!

There is no formal assessment and you cannot fail. You will however get the opportunity to do two short practice lessons to other students on the course. The tutor will give written feedback and advice afterwards.

Our placements are flexible (2 weeks to 1 year) and on most you can choose your own start and finish dates. No qualifications are required, just an enthusiasm to experience a new culture! Full support is provided within the country, with friendly and conscientious staff, ensuring a safe and exciting way to experience a brand new culture! Placements are also very sociable: you'll make friends with the other international volunteers and often volunteers travel together after their placement and during their free weekends.
