Travel for Teens - Southern Africa Photo Safari
Description
Bring a sense of adventure and your camera, and get ready for the trip of a lifetime travelling around South Africa, Zambia, and Botswana. This trip is designed to help you make the leap from taking snapshots to capturing dramatic images. No prior photography skills are required, just a sense of adventure, an open mind, and a desire to improve your photography.
Your trip begins in Botswana, where we will balance our time between game drives in Chobe National Park, home to 60,000 elephants, game cruises on the Chobe River, group photographic instruction, and one-on-one feedback. For our final night in the park we will camp under the stars – get ready for the best stargazing you have ever experienced!
Zambia provides a vastly different landscape where we will continue to hone our photography skills. We’ll visit the mighty Zambezi river and Victoria Falls, AKA “The Smoke That Thunders,” and you will have the opportunity to take an exhilarating helicopter ride over the falls.
The Wild Coast of South Africa, our final stop, offers travellers the chance to learn about the local culture, try surfing and horseback riding, and take a game drive featuring a face to face meeting with the park’s white lions and cubs. The first time you hear a lion roar in the wild, it might just make your hair stand on end! At the end of the trip, you will be blown away by photos you have taken and the warmth you experience from the people in all three countries.
