Description

A trip to visit two of the main highlights of Cairo either from your Alexandria hotel or from the port of your cruise ship, with the company of your private Egyptologist tour guide who will explain to you about these sites and give you a different prospective of it .

You will start at 06:00 am when your guide will come to pick you up from the lobby of your hotel to start your tour, the tour starts by a 3 hour drive to reach Cairo, once you arrive you will head towards the Egyptian museum (the 3rd biggest museum in the world) which contains more than 200,000 pieces of ancient Egyptian artifacts, also you can see the breathtaking mummy room(extra ticket of 80 EGP) containing the mummies of some of the very famous pharaohs (like Ramses 2nd, Merenptah, Seti1st, .. etc) as well as the wonderful golden collection of king Tutankhamen where you can see the golden coffin of the king together with his golden mask which is the must see of the day, at the museum your guide will explain to you about the most important highlights of the museum then will give you some free time to explore the museum by yourself, your next destination will be the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinkx which is Located in the giza District and is one of the World Famous wonders. It gives a beautiful panoramic view of the Pyramids which allows you to take some very nice photos of the city, after that you will take the road back to Alexandria where you will be returned back to the hotel around (16:30).
