Join TOL during summer in Prague for our regular summer journalism courses.
The courses bring together participants from around the world, and feature practical training from journalists who have reported for respected media such as the BBC, Reuters, the New York Times, the Guardian, CBS, the Washington Post and Newsweek.
* Foreign Correspondent Training Course
This popular nine-day course features practical training and advice from experienced foreign correspondents. Including a real-world reporting project, students will research, write and file their own stories from Prague
* Photojournalism
A mixture of training and practical shooting sessions, students will learn new techniques and complete a photo essay under the guidance of an international photojournalist.
Who can apply?
The courses are open to university and college students, and working journalists. Others with a serious interest in journalism can also apply. Please contact us for specific eligibility requirements for each of the courses.

TOL (Transitions) is a non-profit organisation based in Prague. We support the development of a strong, independent media, and last year trained over 300 journalists and journalism students from some 50 countries. Our trainers are professional journalists who have reported for highly-respected media outlets such as the BBC, The Economist, CBS, The Guardian and The New York Times.
