Within a Doctoral programme students concentrate on scientific and individual creative activities in the field of research and development. The standard duration of study is 3 or 4 years. Graduates are awarded the degree of "Doctor"(abbreviation Ph.D. written after the name).

PhD scholarship TBU scholarship: CZK 8,000 / 1 month (EUR 320) Available for full-time students only! Scholarships are intended for the best students only (depending on their previous study results and the entrance exam results) TBU scholarship for talented students: CZK 15,000 / 1 month (EUR 600). Available for full-time students only! Those applicants are eligible for an extraordinary scholarship amounting to EUR 600 per month who submit their application for Ph.D. studies at TBU to the TBU International Office before the end of June 2011 and are selected by the TBU Committee depending on their previous academic performance and research activities.
