This offering enables students to combine two sought-after experiences, study abroad and a tailored internship. Providing an integrated academic and work experience in a comparative and global context, this program will be offered during the summer.
The Program will begin with a ten-day seminar in Washington, D.C., which will include an orientation, academic work, and special programming. At the end of the seminar, you will fly to Sydney, Australia and for the remainder of the program, you will complete a full-time internship while taking courses and gaining an international perspective through organized events. Participants will take advantage of many educational and social opportunities provided by in-country staff.
The thematic focus of this new program will be Australia and the United States in the context of the Pacific Rim. The program will use Washington, D.C. and Sydney as windows on issues surrounding both countries.
The program is open to all majors and recent graduates are also welcome.
