  • Description

We work with extremely vulnerable children in Indonesia. Some have been given away to institutions by their families who are too poor to feed them, others are living and working on top of a mountain of rubbish, and some are begging on the streets and living in the slums.

These children need help in different ways which is why our projects are specifically designed to support them in a variety of ways. And we're always looking for volunteers who really care about the welfare of children to help us.

If you come and volunteer you can stay for between 2 and 12 weeks and work on the project which can benefit most from your skills. Tasks can range from taking care of the children, teaching them, taking them on trips out, shopping for items that they need, rehousing families, fundraising and raising awareness.

This is a really engaging program that allows volunteers to develop an indepth understanding of international aid work at ground zero. If you're interested in making a big difference to children's lives this is a good way to do so.

  • Highlights

Many of our projects are in Bali, a vibrant and exciting part of Indonesia with all the tourist infrastructure to enable you to enjoy your time off and soak up the culture and entertainment. For those wanting to do research or further travel there are opportunities to explore the rest of Indonesia. In other words, whatever kind of volunteering experience you're interested in we can help you to have a rewarding time and to support the children.

  • Qualifications

If you care deeply about the welfare of the world's children and can sing, dance, make people laugh, play, do sports, be in nature, teach, swim, or go on trips then you're qualified to be a volunteer. Equally, if you have experience in IT and web design, accounting, business, project management, research or fundraising you can also be of immense help.
