Location

The School

The Rome Teen Residence Program takes place in the centrally-located Prati district, very close to St. Peter's Cathedral, Vatican City and Castel Sant'Angelo. The school is located on the Via Cola di Rienzo, a popular shopping street, with accommodations a 5-minute walk away. After school, you can easily do some sight seeing as the Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso and Villa Borghese are all within walking distance.

Italian Lessons

The Rome Teen Residence Program offers a perfect balance of Italian immersion lessons with a rich and varied afternoon leisure program that includes sports and cultural activities as well as excursions to many fascinating places of interest in and around Rome. The academic program consists of 20 Italian lessons per week which take place from 9:30am to 12:30pm.

Cultural & Activity Program

The program offers a perfect blend of Italian immersion lessons with a leisure schedule that includes sports and cultural activities. On Saturdays, you'll participate in excursions to many places of interest in and around Rome, giving you an opportunity to experience, first hand, the wonderfully unique Italian culture! - Afternoon or evening activities
- 1 full day and 2 half day excursions for students on a 2-week language course
- 2 full-day and 3 half-day excursions for students on a 3-week language course
- Optional weekend excursions

Teachers & Monitors

The teaching staff are fully-qualified and dynamic native speakers. They set out to create a relaxed, amusing and motivating atmosphere with lesson themes that you can relate to. They are all trained to teach young learners and many return to this program year after year. During extra-curricular activities, you will be strongly encouraged to use Italian so you can get used to thinking in the language!

One of the main strengths of this program is the quality of the group leaders who are in charge of the leisure and culture program. These native Italian speaking locals are very passionate about their culture and are keen to share all that Rome and the surrounding area have to offer!

Accommodation

Students are accommodated in a B&B that is a 5-minute walk away from campus. Each room has 3-4 beds with private bathrooms. Males and females are strictly separated. Each room contains a telephone, desk, alarm clock, radio and cable or satellite television. The rooms have air conditioning and a weekly cleaning service is provided. Breakfast and dinner are taken at the B&B or at a nearby restaurant, with vegetarian options available at each sitting. A packed meal is provided for lunch.
