The Fuller Center will partner with the Paektusan Academy of Architecture, who will help manage the project, to build 50 new homes at Osan-Ri in the outskirts of Pyongyang, the capital of DPRK. The houses will be for farmers working on the tree nursery that surrounds the building site. Volunteers will help with the construction of these new homes.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to not only construct energy-efficient homes, but to build peace between two nations historically separated.
We welcome Global Builder volunteers ages 18+ and of all skill levels. Foreign-language skills are not necessary. We accept everyone who has a love for serving others.
TBD
The actual cost of the trip will vary depending on the location and length of the trip, among other factors. The costs listed below are estimates meant to include food, lodging, ground transportation, insurance, and a donation to the local project, but not site-seeing or airfare.
