We issue I-0s for F-1 international students: 20 hours per week for 16 weeks. Application is 3 pages including a financial statement. F-1 transfer students also complete a 4th page. Students who want to attend the College of Marin credit program waive TOEFL requirement after completing level 3 of the IEP. Four courses (grammar, reading, writing, listening/speaking/pronunciation) meet 5 hours each week.
Au pairs (J-1) living in the area can choose 8-week or 16-week programs between 5 and 15 hours per week. Certificate issued for hours completed.
Program includes:
- Free lunch-time electives: book club, movies, TOEFL prep, pronunciation.
- Two field trips in San Francisco Bay Area per semester.
- Cultural events and parties round out the program.
- Internet Cafe on campus with email and language program access.

* Beautiful natural environment with clean air, oak-tree studded campus, birds, deer.
* Students may take Institutional TOEFL for admission to College of Marin credit program where TOEFL score is waived for students who complete level 3 of IEP.
* TOEFL preparation in all level 3 courses.

College of Marin Intensive English Program at the Indian Valley Campus has been located at the Indian Valley Campus for 30 years.
