The Gobi desert in southern Mongolia is growing at an alarming rate. Desert sands are spreading, not only toward the fertile grasslands and forests to the north, but even as far as the West Coast of North America. Researchers have predicted that the entire nation of Mongolia is in danger of becoming a desert within the next 25 years. Truly, this is a global concern, since much of the world's fresh air supply is generated in unspoiled fields and forests like those in Mongolia. Our mission is to help to prevent the sand from moving northward by planting as many trees as possible in the steppes of Mongolia.
The volunteering project is in a remote location in the steppes of Mongolia. Main task is to plant trees in the steppes of Mongolia which can help to keep the sand from moving. This project is for those who want to help to our Mother Nature and work shoulder to shoulder with Mongolians and learn their lifestyles as well living with them throughout the project in their Ger/Yurt.

Our mission is to help to prevent the sand from moving northward by planting as many trees as possible in Mongolia. We are a very small group with limited resources. Every person counts in this noble mission, and your help could make a big difference in preserving the world's precious environment. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to come to Mongolia and physically participate.
