Ideally positioned on a quiet one-way street overlooking Bootham Park with views of York Minster, which is just a short 7-minute walk away. We are a small family run Guest house with a friendly, informal atmosphere.

We are open all year round, with the exception of Christmas. Visit us in the summer when the days are long....or try an out of season break when the crowds have gone.

By Car
From the North. Take the A19 from Thirsk. Follow signs for York/City Centre continue through several sets of lights and pedestrian crossings and under St Peters School footbridge. Continue through the next set of pedestrian crossing lights, 25 yards after - turn left immediately after the Churchill Hotel into Grosvenor Terrace - the Bronte Guest House can be found half way down.

From the South
Take the outer ring road (A1237) following signs for the A19 to Thirsk. At the roundabout with the A19 turn towards York/City Centre and continue as above.
