This course is designed specifically for independant film makers who want to learn how to work with a professional team of actors and crew, but need to do this within a short intensive timespan.
Following our successful 8 week film courses we are launching a shorter 3-week course. This course will be intensively hands on and practical. We would aim to spend at least a week on location and make two films. You will learn how to work with actors, film crew and the production team. Films will be made to the highest possible production value within the time. Many previous films have been accepted into international film festivals, whereas others have secured international distribution contracts. Through a series of professional level practical workshops, you will learn about the necessary aspects of independant film production culminating in you working on location using HD cameras, sound, lighting and grip equipment. You will also be able to concentrate on those areas of production of interest to you whether this is directing, camera, sound, lighting or editing. The course is designed for people either working in the creative industries looking for a career move, students wishing to fast-track their film education to enter the independant film industry or to further their studies.
