Founded in 2005, That's Mandarin is a professional Chinese language school with branches in historic Beijing and vibrant Shanghai. All three schools are conveniently located just steps from the subway and surrounded by local area attractions!

Our number one priority is to provide our students with the confidence and skills they need to take the Mandarin they learn in the classroom and apply it in their daily lives right away. Our unique Linkword and story-based teaching methods are proven, winning alternatives to the dull, ineffective textbook-based Chinese. We only hire teachers on a full-time basis, ensuring that the entirety of their energy and professional focus is on their students.

We offer a free trial class for people interested in enrolling at our school. Please contact us to get this arranged either at our Dongzhimen, or Jingan school. Alternatively if you are not in Beijing or Shanghai, feel free to try us out online!

At That's Mandarin we appreciate that every student is different, so we cater for a wide range of different study options and program lengths. Our most popular and proven program is the intensive one-on-one or group study, but if you cant commit to fixed start dates (at the beginning of each month) or you need a more specific program there are many other options available.

* Intensive Chinese Program (Best Value)
By signing up for our Intensive Chinese program you can learn Chinese quickly One-on-One or in a Small Group class. Youll spend four hours or six hours per day in class and participate in lots of fun-filled activities to rapidly improve your Mandarin. Program duration: 4-9 weeks.

* Part-time
Our part-time Chinese programs offer flexibility! You decide when and how often to have class and we fit your study needs around your already busy schedule.

* Corporate
Our corporate training Chinese classes allow you and your colleagues to develop the same working vocabulary in small, focused, group classes as well as hone speaking skills in separate, private tutorials.

* Kids and Teens
Thats Mandarin offers both one on one and small group classes that are especially tailored to give children their first introduction to Chinese. We can promise lots of fun, as well as lots of learning.

* Native Fluency
If you're already proficient in Chinese, our native fluency classes will provide you with a professional mentor and instructor to hone your knowledge in whatever specific subject areas you need.

* Joint Chinese and Internship Program
