    * About Centro Espiral Mana and TESOL Training Costa Rica (TTCR)
    Centro Espiral Mana is a small teacher-training center and community English program that was started in 2003 by director Mary Scholl because she wanted to work in the rural community where she and her husband had settled. Currently TTCR runs 6 SIT TESOL Certificate courses each year. We have had over 250 course graduates and have never canceled a course. We are also working on a project with a local university and high school teachers. The volunteer-run community English program has had over 20 volunteers provide language instruction to over 400 students in the surrounding area.

    * About SIT
    The School for International Training (SIT) is a graduate school located in Vermont, USA. It has been a leader in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) for more than 30 years. It is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its teacher training programs.
