M.A. in TESOL
The desirability of a graduate degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is a direct result of the high status and prestige that English enjoys in the international community. The English Language is being taught today in a wide variety of contexts and at all levels of education to a variety of students - children and adults in non English speaking countries and as a second language in English speaking countries. There is currently an increase in the need for well trained TESOL teachers and therefore there are various programs for TESOL teachers world wide.
The TESOL teacher training programs that exist in Israel have received major recognition in terms of their quality and research. Israel (where 35% of its teachers are native speakers) is known for its innovative programs, creative curricula and advanced technological materials (computer programs and instructional materials) which are exported all over the world. In addition, TAU faculties are known for their scientific research in the field of TESOL, publications in major international journals and presentations at conferences.

We invite you to learn from our world renowned experts.
The program encompasses both public disasters and personal life crises: terror and war and natural disasters in the public realm, along with such stressors as immigration, domestic violence, divorce, and illness and bereavement in the personal realm.
MA in Security and Diplomacy
Israel is at the focus of the world's attention in both security and diplomacy matters. It is also the center of enormous professional expertise in both these fields. Embodying that unique knowledge and skill, our program brings together internationally renowned scholars and former leading practitioners in both security and diplomacy, offering students an exceptional learning experience in English. Educational tours and meetings with Israeli and foreign officials are incorporated into the curriculum. Students come from all over the world and are encouraged to take up internships and other extra-curricular activities during their year stay in Israel.
The program provides advanced knowledge and analytical tools for the study of strategy, diplomacy, decision-making and the shaping of security and foreign policy. The outlook of the program is global, with a special focus on Israel and the Middle East. At the practical level, the program prepares students for engagement in the international arena, defense bodies, international organizations (both governmental and NGOs) and international economic organizations.
