It is very hard to exaggerate Barcelona. It is a simply magnificent city with everything on offer. Teaching English in Spain is a fantastic experience and Barcelona is definitely a city you must see. With a population of nearly two million, it is big enough to offer the widest range of choices in arts, culture and entertainment but small enough to find your way around. If you decide that teaching English in Spain is for you, Barcelona is the ideal location to kick start your TEFL career. At the Barcelona centre the TEFL and TESOL course offered by TEFL International are intensive but we do everything possible to ensure you make the most of your time in this fantastic region. A welcome dinner at the start of the course helps ensure you get to know your fellow TEFL trainees at an early stage. Teaching English in Spain is simply the best way to experience true Spanish culture and there is no city more culturally vibrant than Barcelona.

Seville is the capital and largest city of the region of Andalusia, in the South of Spain. It is quite possibly one of Europe's most beautiful and exuberant cities, and has captivated visitors for centuries with its rich history and folkloric tradition that continues to permeate daily Sevillano life. Seville's biggest holiday, Holy Week (La Semana Santa), is during the March/April course. Every year, thousands of tourists come to Seville for the holiday, paying double the usual prices for hotels.

Our trainees would have the opportunity to experience this religious tradition without the inconvenience of paying any more than their course fees. Our course schedule will be slightly modified allowing us to have the evenings free to enjoy the processions.

During the April/May course is Seville's week long party, the Feria. From April 30 to May 4, everyone in Seville spends as much time as possible at the fairgrounds, dancing, eating and drinking with friends. People go directly after work and often stay until it's time to go back to work in the morning. This is another famous event which attracts tourists and would add to our trainees experience of Seville while on the course.

Rich in the traditions of flamenco, bullfighting, colorful fiestas, and typical Andalusian cuisine, one can literally soak in the Spanish culture while visiting Seville. The Sevillano people take tremendous pride in their history and traditions of the past, and keep such traditions alive through a very lively, socially-active and festive culture.

The captivating city center is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets leading into quaint plazas, lively tapas bars and bodegas, and fantastic architectural monuments demonstrating the heavy Moorish influence of the past. The enchanting river Guadalquivir runs through the city and provides an excellent spot for evening "paseos", river-front dining and exciting nightlife.

The historical city of Granada is quite a magical location to take a TEFL Course. Granada is a UNESCO world heritage site and home to Spain's most visited attraction, the Alhambra Palace. It is the former Capital of Moorish Spain and this is evident in the many palaces, churches, monuments and ancient dwellings that are still home for many of this towns inhabitants. Today, Granada is a large town rather than a small city. It retains much of its ancient charm and is a delightfully well situated location. It is also a popular University town with a vibrant night-life, lots of interesting restaurants, cafes, bars, theatres, and clubs.

Food. It could be argued that soul food was first introduced in Andalucia., such is the quality and diversity of many outstanding dishes here. Gaspacio, Tapas, Chorizo, and Paella washed down with locally produced wine deliver, meal after meal, outstanding culinary experiences. You see there is not much the town of Granada does not have to offer. All these outstanding features combined result in Granada being a world class destination, and a prime location for TEFL Courses in Spain.
