Description

Change your life and the lives of others by becoming a certified TEFL teacher. Educate others on English language skills, and make a difference in the world. Our month-long, 120+ hour, intensive program is designed to prepare you to move into your role as a professional TEFL teacher with confidence.

You will become familiar with a variety of modern teaching practices, and the course covers grammar and phonology specifically adapted to the needs of an ESL teacher. Other topics include lesson planning, student assessment, and classroom management.

A significant amount of the course is taken up with practice teaching to real language learners.

Qualifications

To be accepted, applicants must:

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a standard of education equivalent of that required for entry into higher education
- Have native or near-native competence in both spoken and written English.

Non-native speakers must communicate in English with few or no mistakes. Non-native speakers may be required complete an oral interview with a member of the admissions staff before being accepted

As the four week course is very intensive, you should be prepared to work very hard, have no other distractions, and be mentally/emotionally completely fit and well, including having no current domestic worries.
