Qualifications

For first-time TEFL teachers, you can take from 20 - to 130 hours of training. For most, it is recommended you take a minimum of 100 hours of training.

Many positions in the Far East require this level of qualification. Those taking shorter courses will be those with classroom experience or are looking to pick up work as they travel on a casual basis.

You don't need any previous experience to take a TEFL course and all the job vacancies we have are available to first-time teachers.
