Mexico: Monterrey

Term

  • Description

Many international students study in Mexico because they want to interact and meet local students, yet want to participate in classes taught in English because they have not mastered the Spanish language. At Tecnologico de Monterrey you can attend regular courses taught in English and have the credits applied to your college degree back home.

In addition, local and Latin students also attend these same classes in order to improve their English skills. Therefore, you can study in a language you're comfortable with while meeting students from around the globe. Tecnologico de Monterrey offers several options that allow you to take advantage of this opportunity.

If you decide to take a course instructed in English, but are not a native English speaker, you should submit either a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of at least 550 (213 on the computer-based TOEFL) or a IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 to the International Programs Office. Please be sure you make the necessary arrangements ahead of time!
