• Volunteers must be at least 18 years old
• Volunteers must be native English speakers. If you are not a native speaker but can prove a high proficiency level you are eligible to apply.
• Volunteers must provide a criminal background check
• Valid passport with at least three months validity after the completion of the program.
• Proof of international medical and travel insurance that cover volunteering activities
• Vaccination or immunization card

Typical Volunteer

A volunteer must be a creative and proactive leader. He/she should be positive with a flexible mindset to respond to the changing needs and demands of the program. Volunteers must also have a sense of respect for people and a new culture. He/she should ideally possess attitudes of service towards others and is receptive and cooperative with the program staff and students. We expect our volunteers to readily offer help where their skills and knowledge are needed most. Volunteers must have the emotional aptitude to learn and adapt to a new culture.
