I've been meaning to email you for a while now but life here in Korea is so crazy, and I am enjoying every minute of it. I have visited Busan and I loved it! I've seen some of Korea, Pohang, Seoul, Busan, Daegu, but I can't wait to visit the other places on my list. Life has been fairly easy, the apartment I'm in is also home to large number of foreigners, so I always have someone to hang out with. I've met some amazing friends, both foreigners and Koreans. I even have my summer vacation planned already, me and a friend are going to Malaysia and Cambodia. Life is truly exciting here in Korea. I want to thank you for helping get this opportunity, it has been life changing!

After making the decision to teach English in Japan, the task of finding employment seemed overwhelming! I was fortunate enough to meet with Teach Away and to be offered a job in Japan. The support I've received has been incredible, and the entire experience has been positive. In the sometimes uncertain world of teaching English in Asia, Teach Away has helped to provide me with a reliable job and excellent placement. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

The teachers and kids at my first school are very friendly and easy to work with. My community also has everything I need and is very close to Tokyo (about an hour and a half train ride) as well as close to some scenic destinations like Nikko which is apparently beautiful.

My employer has also been great! The training was incredibly useful and the support has been unbelievable. Helpers have been contacting me continually to make sure that I'm okay and doing everything that I need to be doing.

I am very happy with my experience thus far and would like to sincerely thank you and the rest of the staff at Teach Away for all your help.

I got my first teaching job through Teach Away. I was very impressed with the organization and staff. They came to the school in Taipei halfway through the year to check on the Teach Away teachers. Although the school was great, the Taiwanese partner that they worked with had misrepresented some of the key contract points. Because of our feedback, Teach Away did not renew their contract with that school! I was very impressed by the follow up and concern for the teachers; the Teach Away staff make sure that the positions are actually as posted! Thanks to Teach Away, I'm now in my 8th year of teaching overseas.

Everything is beautiful and great over here, and me and Nejada are having a great time! I just thought I'd take a minute to e-mail you saying thank you for helping to get us to this beautiful country. We already feel like Gyeongju is home to us! I hope everything is good with you. Going to Japan was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It opened up so many different opportunities for me from learning to speak Japanese to traveling all around Asia. It brought me to meet people from all over the world, experience the culture and discover the beauty of Japan. It was definitely a hard transition at the start, but being surrounded by a great network people of all backgrounds, helped me overcome my homesickness. The kids were so adorable and great to teach! Going to class everyday with kids excited to learn and see you makes the job so easy. Teach Away gave me an experience that I will never forget!

Teach Away is very organized and professional. They help you with every step and question along the way. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to teach abroad. They make things as simple and easy as possible. Ash hosted webinars to help prepare us for what is to come in our country. They are very hard and dedicated workers and it is much appreciated. The opportunity to teach both young students and teenagers in Taipei during the summer of 2004 was amazing, and I especially loved teaching this group of girls from Zhongshan Girls' High School. They were eager to learn, and it was great to get to know them not only as their teacher, but as a friend.

Teach Away is exceptional! Kate has been AMAZING during this process. She has been extremely patient and encouraging! She went above and beyond to find me the perfect position. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and promptly. I cannot express how happy and blessed I personally feel towards my overall experience in the UAE so far. I have met so many interesting and wonderful people, had some amazing adventures I will never forget, and am honestly proud to say that it is a joy going to work everyday. I am very proud to be a member of the Ghantoot Secondary staff and I feel extremely blessed to have ended up in that school. All the way from the top, starting with the principal (who is one of the best people I have ever met in my life), the providers and the entire staff at the school, as well as the rest of the Arabic faculty, everyone has truly been a blessing and offered tremendous support and friendship. I have endless respect and admiration for my superiors and co-workers.

I really love my students and I feel the same love in return. This is a special joy I get at work every single day. They are full of life and once you get to know them individually each one is a really special person that makes me feel blessed and truly proud to be in this profession. All of us have been through a lot, especially in the beginning with all the adjustments, but I just want to express my gratitude and respect to everybody for making this a truly wonderful experience in my life. I appreciate all your hard work from the bottom of my heart and I can speak for my older brother as well. Thank you all so much, your efforts and constant support are really making a difference! May we all continue to grow, improve and reach new goals in the upcoming semester (Insallah).

Hi Adrian, I just wanted to check in and let you know that I am in Abu Dhabi, and I am loving it!

Everything is running pretty smoothly, and I haven't had any questions or concerns that haven't been answered or addressed regarding anything. I feel taken care of, valued, and accommodated.

I wanted to touch base just to let you know how thankful I am for talking to you at the Tacoma education fair. That 10 minute conversation has changed my life, and you have held my hand the whole way through. You are such an integral part of this process. Thank you a million times!

My experience with Teach Away has been excellent since the beginning of the process. The paperwork and interview process is well organized and the Teach Away reps are very friendly and professional. The interviews and webinar and all the people I have met have been very helpful, and I am very excited to start teaching in Abu Dhabi!

I just wanted to let you know that Chris and I have settled in nicely, here in Busan. We are very comfortable in our apartment and in our jobs. We both enjoy the work and the great experience it is providing. And we are both lucky enough to have a whole summer vacation to ourselves! Six weeks of vacation starting on Monday! I want to thank Ash, Dave, Kathleen and everyone else connected with Teach Away! My case has been an especially taxing one for all involved and I must say that the entire staff handled my multiple calls and emails over the past few months with such professionalism and patience. I cannot wait to head over tomorrow and begin the next step of this amazing journey. I have no words to describe how grateful I am.

I'm definitely still enjoying my time back in Japan. I think this is the best job I've had yet. My students are so much fun! & When I have free time they're really encouraging of me just visiting classes where students are doing arts and crafts or cooking or playing sports, and talking with the students and participating with the students which is fun. I've never had a job where I smile as soon as I get to work and I smile as I'm leaving

Hi Katarina and Candice, I wanted to thank you both personally and Teach Away for all your work and help in preparing for Japan. My employer has been great too - I really enjoyed training, and I only have good things to report about them thus far.

Now I'm working at a junior high school and two elementary schools in a town right outside Chiba City. Overall, I'm less than an hour away from Tokyo.

Besides the update, I'm mostly sending this because I wanted to say thank you. If it weren't for both your stories and calm - sounding voices, I don't know if I would have mustered up the courage to come here. I hope you're both doing well. Thank you again.

I am absolutely impressed by Teach Away. My Teach Away rep, Ash, has been so professional and helpful in this process. When I went to the interview, I was immediately greeted by a staff member of Teach Away who put me at ease and answered questions which I thought might seem silly. I feel fortunate to have connected, rather by happenstance, with such an amazing organization dedicated to finding, placing, and supporting talented teachers around the globe. Being a teacher and a professional it was a major decision as a couple to leave our jobs and go away for a year to teach in Taiwan. This decision was made easier by using Teach Away! They really put our mind at ease and addressed every question and concern. Things are going phenomenally in Korea! My school in Daegu is lovely, and my co-teachers have a great desire to help me.
