Teach Away is currently accepting applications for Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) positions throughout Japan. This is a truly unique opportunity to gain international teaching experience while immersing yourself in a fascinating culture, and experiencing all that Japan has to offer.
- Start Dates: August 2012
- Student Level: Elementary, Middle, or High School
- Monthly Salary: 230,000 - 250,000 JPY (approx. 2,600 - 2,950 USD)
- School Type: Public schools
- Number of Students: 25
- Working Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
- Visa: Sponsored by school
- Vacation: 6-8 weeks holiday, including all national holidays
- Medical Insurance: 2.5-3% deduction from monthly pay cheque for a comprehensive health plan
