Teach Away is currently accepting applications from licensed primary and secondary school teachers for jobs in Abu Dhabi. The education system in Abu Dhabi is being revamped to create a more student-centred learning environment. In addition, the language of instruction is being changed from Arabic to English for Math, Science, and English classes.

Teachers are needed for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary positions. Teachers can expect to earn a lucrative salary, but should be prepared for the challenges that will accompany an educational reform of this breadth. Only licensed primary school teachers with a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience will be considered for these positions. Candidates with more than 10 years of experience may be considered for an Advisor Position.

All candidates must possess a valid teaching license or Qualified Teacher Status in their home country.

Teaching Schedule: 07:30 14:00, 35-40 hours/week - 5 days a week; exact schedule varies depending on school
Monthly Salary: 12,300 20,400 AED (approx. USD3350 - 5500 USD / 4000 - 6300 CAD)
Flight: Paid for up to 5 family members
Housing: Provided, inclusive of furniture allowance.
Vacation: mid-June to mid-August (plus all national holidays)
